FAQ

Should I hire a remodeler with building experience or just a remodeler?

A professional remodeler does nothing but remodeling and may not understand how your home was originally built.  A builder and remodeler has the critical experience needed to assess how your home was originally built and can advise you on the best way to commence your remodel – safe for you and safe for your home’s construction.

Paradise Homes understands how to work with existing structures and can address your concerns.  And, our goal is to make the process as comfortable and seamless as possible while you live in your home during your remodel.

Will my project need a permit?

While building codes vary by city, county and state yes, a permit is usually required when structural work is being performed or when changing the living area of a home.  Since 1989, Paradise Homes has helped clients just like you understand Collier County’s building codes and requirements and we will handle all the details for you.

Who will be assigned as project supervisor for my project?

While other companies “match up” a project manager to each project (which usually means your project will get who on staff is available), Paradise Homes has one project manager whose sole responsibility is making sure all of our projects run smoothly.

Our Project Manager, George Kocsis, has hands-on experience in nearly every category of residential building construction. Having been a finish carpenter/tile layer/kitchen installer/furniture and cabinet builder himself, he knows quality work when he sees it and demands perfection from the artisans under his supervision.

George personally oversees the operations on each Paradise Homes project, which is the reason our clients repeatedly give high accolades to our process

Will employees or subcontractors be working on my project?

Along with our hands-on Project Manager, select sub-contractors will be working on your project. Our sub-contractors, who have been working in Naples for decades, are carefully selected by the Paradise Homes team and are pre-screened for experience, knowledge and professionalism.

Does your company carry workers compensation and liability insurance?

Yes, Paradise Home is fully-insured and a licensed general contractor in the state of Florida.  You can verify a company or individual's license through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation by visiting  MyFlorida.com.

Do you have references?

What percentage of your business is referral business?
